THANK YOU for your generous support of #MoveTogether—you have my extreme gratitude!

Together we have raised more than $43,000 for the #MoveTogether movement! We surpassed our original fundraising goal of $30,000 by nearly 50%—thanks to all of you!

Thanks to everyone’s generous support, we are able to give more than $11,000 apiece to these three incredible organizations:

  • Guardian Baltimore, led by Artistic Director Breai Mason-Campbell
  • Cleveland Junior Jitterbugs, led by Valerie Salstrom
  • Lindy Hoppers of the African Diaspora Fund for the Frankie Manning Foundation (a new social justice fund), led by Tena Morales-Armstrong & Julia Loving

This was quite an accomplishment! We are very proud of the impact that this is going to have in our dance community, as well as communities of color.

Please continue to donate to the Move Together Fund! Your future donations will go towards the continual development of next steps and future events. This is a movement, not a moment—and it still needs your support!

Stay tuned for future events! We’re working to ensure sure that we come back stronger!

  1. Excited to attend, and a huge thank you to the organizers, artists, and panelists who’ve put a lot of work into making this happen.

  2. Dance has always helped me make sense of the world. To get out of my head and into my body. To sweat away the pain. Happy to be a part of people bringing so much joy! Thank you for doing this and dancing to uplift.

  3. I love the concept of using a historical Black American art form of diverse dancers to bring us all closer as a ‘human race’ during this challenging time in world history. We are truly in this together! #MOVETOGETHER/Asante

  4. As a white dancer enjoying this dance, not supporting and not advocating for the Black community is an insult to the founders of lindy hop. I use to dance their dance while ignoring their suffering. Not anymore. Looking forward to learning how I can advocate inclusivity in my local scene.

  5. Thank you for making Move Together a global movement and a great ressource for exchange, openness, learning, creating context and for support. A very good and needed way of improving the international dance community. Greetings from Germany. Sabine
